10/25 Sat Morning Update

Good morning! We are still in the hospital. Ash is still febrile. Her last temperature was 104. However, the doctors also determined that she is constipated which is the reason she has been vomitting so much. She's begun receiving medication for that, so hopefully that begins working soon.

Ash has also started to feel more comfortable in the hospital. I feel like we've reached a huge turning point. All of our nurses in the past day or so have commented on how much happier she is now than the times they've cared for her in the past. She used to scream anytime a nurse or doctor would approach her. Simple things like getting a temperature reading were torture to her in the past, but now she is so much happier... which is even more amazing if you keep in mind the fact that she has a fever of 104 and hasn't been able to eat in days. I think any parent going through something like this would tell you that they draw so much strength from their child and I definitely draw strength from Ash because she is one incredibly strong and beautiful little girl.

Hi Constantino Clan-
You are so strong. I say prays for you all day. Remain strong and embrace all the positive movements, even the small ones. The small ones lead to larger ones. Take each day one day at a time and smile at least three times a day to each other. Remember Ash is loved by so many and is in so many prayers.

Big hugs to all of you and many kisses to Ash...
