Well, it seems our weekend started off better than it is ended. Saturday was a great day for us. Ashley was fairly comfortable throughout the day which was especially good news considering she had chemo on Friday. She had a good appetite and even asked for milk and cookies at one point!
On Sunday, however, she woke up and felt slightly warm. After taking her temperature, we discovered she had a fever. We were instructed to bring her to the hopsital and she was then admitted. It looks like she may be there for a couple of days. She was due to return on Wednesday for more chemo ... so we may be there until at least Wednesday.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to read our blog. We find so much comfort in the love and support of our family and friends. We know there are also many people who we've never met before who read our blog and pray for our little girl. We are so thankful to all of you!

Claudia, you and your family are simply amazing. I can't begin to understand everything you all are going thru but the love that you guys have for each other is obviously what is getting you thru this. You put a new perspective on life and love and we're praying for you all every day and night. Thank you for the updates. Give those 2 beautiful girls big hugs and kisses from us in Missouri.
