Ashley still has a fever and we are still in the hospital. Her white blood cell count is coming up, but the doctors decided to hold off on chemo today.
One really cool thing that happened yesterday was that Ashley was visited by the music therapist. Ashley had been extremely agitated throughout the day. The music therapist came in and played her guitar and sang to her and within seconds Ashley went from crying and swinging her arms to being completely calm and serene. It was the most amazing thing to witness. The music therapist returned today and the same scenario replayed.
She seems more relaxed now. We're just hoping to go home as soon as possible!
