Ashley is such an amazing girl. She had nausea from the chemo and ended up vomitting during the night. However, her nurses cleaned her up and moments later she was smiling and kissing her Dad. This is always a good sign for us because when she is mad she only says "No!". Her favorite purple blanket got a bit messy but we have a good supply of those blankets at home. I went home with Lindsey last night. Only one parent is allowed to stay overnight and Lindsey is not allowed to stay overnight at all. So in some ways that is a good thing because it forces us to take turns going home every other night and that helps us keep Lindsey's routine somewhat normal. It's still very hard though because whenever it is our night to go home with Lindsey we miss Ashley so much but Lindsey and I are headed back to the hospital this morning.
Chemo continues today and when this round is done she'll continue to get chemo every 3 weeks. Each round takes 3-5 days. After 3 rounds she'll get an MRI to see how the tumor is responding to chemo.
